About the Role
The Multi-Modality Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures across X-ray and CT modalities in a state-of-the-art emergency care setting, ensuring high-quality exams and compassionate patient care. They collaborate with medical staff to deliver accurate results and a positive patient experience, explaining procedures effectively and producing images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures with attention to safety and quality standards.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and understanding.
- Produce clear, high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and team members to optimize patient care.
- Maintain compliance with imaging standards and age-specific criteria.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in diagnostic imaging and CT, with preferred experience in emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic exams.
- Registered with ARRT in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (C) and certified by SCRQSA.
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, team-focused, and committed to professional growth.
