About the role
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) drives revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector. This role supports AWS Partner Funding & GTM Programs that contribute to the growth of AWS and the AWS Partner Network (APN).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business agreements and strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Work across teams to design, evolve, and launch scalable programs and growth initiatives that support partners and AWS field priorities.
- Collaborate with Program, Operations, Sales / Partner Sales, Partner Management, and the Specialist Organization / Business Development to execute partner funding programs worldwide.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of programs and initiatives, including showing attainment to goals, operational success, and further iterations.
- Obtain and distill information from partners, customers, and internal stakeholders to define program and initiative strategy and approach aligned to business outcomes.
- Build end-to-end internal and external processes for programs and initiatives, including automation to support scale.
- Share insights into program and process improvements for next-level growth or increased productivity.
- Support Geo Teams in acquiring new customers, retaining and growing existing customers, and delivering growth in revenue on AWS services.
- Balance meeting partner needs and financial management.
- Monitor partner utilization of funds as a steward of the funding budget for AWS.
- Analyze various business areas and track key performance measures.
- Lead complex initiatives, deliver independently, and co-own multiple goals.
- Support ongoing business reviews / reporting to senior management using a data-driven approach.
Requirements
- 7+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience.
- 7+ years of professional or military experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner.
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $176,100.00 - $238,200.00 USD annually.
