WSK/WSH Packer

This position is for a WSK/WSH Packer on the weekend shift (Friday – Sunday, 3:00am – 3:30pm) with overtime available as needed at Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, NE.
Responsibilities
- Operates two packing machines, weigh scale, bar code printer, and mainframe terminal.
- Sets up computer to packing and testing specifications noted on production card.
- Sets counters and runs out leader tape.
- Places resistors into syntron bowl (Test pack or Tokyo Weld machines) or loads resistor sticks to table (stick to tape machines).
- Starts machine by pressing keyboard button and operates until the desired quantity is packed.
- Runs out carrier tape tail to wind around the end of the reel and removes finished reel from machine.
- Repeats procedures if order quantity requires more than what is on a single reel.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One to three months of manufacturing experience.
- Ability to stand during the entire shift.
This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.
