About the role

Gallery Monitors greet visitors, manage exhibits, and assist with events. Supervised by Petra Carroll. Start date: 8/24/2026.

Responsibilities

• Work pre-determined shifts; maintain attendance and punctuality. Notify supervisor in advance if unable to keep assigned schedule.
• Assist with artist meetings, exhibit installations, and event preparation.
• Work independently and welcome gallery visitors.
• Explain artwork care and model appropriate gallery behavior.
• Support event planning, public relations, and gallery events.
• Complete office tasks for art faculty as needed.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: varies depending on workload
• Saturday & Sunday: closed
• Priority during open hours and special events

Pay

$8.75/hour

Location: Weber Art Gallery / Record Memorial Building, 4th floor. 4–5 positions available.
