About the role
The Write Place needs a student to assist with marketing, the Libguide resources, and as a fill-in tutor in the center. Additional duties may include tutoring in an instructor's classroom or conducting academic integrity or documentation workshops, as requested by instructors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine resources on the Libguide
- Lead an engaging and ongoing weekly marketing campaign through social media and other avenues
- Provide effective tutoring assistance in the classroom
- Offer well-designed workshops
Requirements
- Develop communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills
- Work closely with Dr. Welch to create materials for in-class workshops
- Meet weekly with Dr. Welch to discuss upcoming requests for tutoring in the classroom and progress on marketing and the Libguide
