Wound Nurse | RN

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Wound Nurses (RNs) to join our team.

About the role

As a Wound Nurse, you will oversee the community’s skin management program and deliver safe, efficient treatment to heal various wounds, including surgical openings, ulcers, bed sores, feeding tube sites, and abscesses. Responsibilities include assessing wounds, creating and implementing treatment plans, monitoring infections, and cleaning wounds.

Responsibilities

• Assess wounds and develop individualized treatment plans
• Monitor wounds for signs of infection
• Clean and dress wounds
• Implement the community’s skin management program

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Prior wound care experience
• Minimum one year of experience providing specialized treatments in a long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or memory care setting
• Professional appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
