The Wound Care Registered Nurse at Baylor Medical Center - Irving, TX works in a shift that includes Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts.

Essential Functions of the Role
- Conduct clinical assessments maintaining the highest standard of practice.
- Be proactive in designing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans.
- Build therapeutic relationships with both patient and family.
- Engage in collaborative and mutual work with colleagues and the community.
Key Success Factors
- A good understanding of nursing standards and patient care.
- Understanding legal and ethical considerations.
- Good communication skills.
- Problem-solving ability to quickly detect and react to changes in patients.
- Knowledge of using computers and medical software.
Qualifications
- Completion of an associates degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience.
- Holding an effective Registered Nurse licensure.
- Must have Basic Life Support certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting the job.
