Wound Care Nurse

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement and monitor wound treatment and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal resident care.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and care practices.
• Document care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Support quality improvement initiatives within a person-centered, faith-based care setting.
