Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest standards of patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to execute treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on wound care topics.
• Lead hospital-wide wound care education initiatives.
• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
• Administers medication per policy and licensure regulations and completes appropriate documentation.

Qualifications

• LPN, RN, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist License in MO required.
• Certification in Wound Care and Management.
• CPR certification required.
• Continuous updating of wound care knowledge through seminars and professional organizations is required.
• Minimum two years of experience in wound care.
