Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest standards of patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to execute treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on wound care topics.
- Lead hospital-wide wound care education initiatives.
- Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
- Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
- Administers medication per policy and licensure regulations and completes appropriate documentation.
Qualifications
- LPN, RN, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist License in MO required.
- Certification in Wound Care and Management.
- CPR certification required.
- Continuous updating of wound care knowledge through seminars and professional organizations is required.
- Minimum two years of experience in wound care.
