About the role

The established practice is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and is affiliated with Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. The position requires an experienced physician who is hyperbaric trained and serves as the Medical Director for the Certified Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine.

Responsibilities

Manage wound care patients under the direction of the Medical Director, including but not limited to:

• Assessing and managing wound care patients
• Providing education to patients and families on wound care management
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

Requirements include:

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Current state medical license
• Board certification in wound care and hyperbaric medicine
• Experience in wound care and hyperbaric medicine

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
