Worship Pastor / Music Minister

About the role

This role leads the worship ministry at First Baptist Church in McDonough, GA. Duties include overseeing instrumentalists, singers, the audio/visual team, and occasionally a choir.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the worship team, including musicians, vocalists, and technical staff.
• Plan and direct worship services, ensuring a cohesive and engaging musical experience.
• Collaborate with the church leadership to develop and implement worship strategies.
• Manage the church’s audio/visual equipment to enhance the worship experience.
• Occasionally lead a choir during special events or services.

Requirements

• Experience leading worship teams and managing musical performances.
• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and rehearsals.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other church staff and volunteers.
• Passion for music and a commitment to Christian worship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music, Worship Arts, or related field preferred.
• Experience in church music and worship leadership.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
