Worship Pastor

About the Role

We are seeking a Worship Pastor who is deeply passionate about the gospel and committed to cultivating a warm, participatory worship culture within our church. This role is for a pastor who plans worship with purpose—not preference—values participation over performance, and intentionally creates space for God to move and for people to respond. The Worship Pastor provides spiritual leadership, creative direction, and pastoral care for the worship, production, and creative ministries of the church. This leader ensures that worship is biblically grounded, theologically sound, and gospel-centered, while shepherding teams with care, clarity, and humility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead worship services, ensuring they are biblically grounded, theologically sound, and gospel-centered.
• Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care for worship, production, and creative ministry teams.
• Plan and coordinate worship services, considering music, Scripture, visuals, environment, and flow.
• Empower and develop team members, prioritizing discipleship and collaboration over performance and control.
• Work closely with church leadership to support the spiritual formation and mission of the church.

Qualifications

• Deep passion for the gospel and a commitment to cultivating a participatory worship culture.
• Ability to plan worship with purpose, valuing participation over performance.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on shepherding teams with care, clarity, and humility.
• Understanding of the full picture of worship, including music, Scripture, visuals, environment, and flow.
• Strong “we” mindset, prioritizing developing people, discipleship, and collaboration.
