About the role
Journey Church is seeking a dynamic Worship Pastor/Director to lead their vibrant and growing congregation of 350 members in Conway, New Hampshire. This role is crucial to the ministry of the church and aims to positively impact the lives of attendees, the church community, and the broader area.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the worship team
- Plan and execute audio and visual elements for Sunday worship services and special services
- Recruit and train new worship team members
- Organize weekly rehearsals
- Select appropriate songs
- Manage equipment used in worship
- Contribute to weekly staff team meetings
- Collaborate with a team of like-minded individuals dedicated to serving the church community
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Certification in ministry or equivalent
- Experience in worship ministry in the local church context
