Worship Director - South Park Church

About the role

South Park Church is seeking a worship director/pastor to help build a Jesus-centered worship culture that is dynamic and glorifies God.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Room: Serve as the primary worship leader, guiding Spirit-led worship and pastoral moments for the congregation.
• Build the Team: Shepherd and develop the worship team, including recruiting, training, and disciplining volunteers.
• Develop Future Leaders: Mentor and develop the next generation of worship leaders through intentional on-ramp opportunities for children and youth.
• Shape the Culture: Collaborate with leadership to align worship with message themes, seasons, and other ministry initiatives, fostering a worship lifestyle throughout the church.

Requirements

• Experienced Leader: Proficient in worship leading and vocal skills, with a track record of developing and shepherding volunteers.
• Tech-Savvy: Knowledge of tools like ProPresenter and Planning Center.
• Growth-Oriented: Possesses a "shepherd-leader" mindset, desiring to see others flourish in their spiritual gifts and exhibit emotional and relational maturity in conflict resolution and feedback.
• Heart for Service: Spiritual gifts in areas such as Leadership, Shepherding, and Creative Communication.

Benefits

Permanent, Full-Time position.

Pay

$60,000 - $70,000 depending on experience and skill set.

Schedule

40 hours per week.

Physical Requirements

Includes standing for long periods and carrying up to 25 lbs.
