Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for the Peer Mentor/Coach work study position. This role involves serving as study leaders, sharing effective learning and study strategies with assigned students, and helping to clarify and reinforce course content, assignments, and material, with a commitment of up to 20 hours per week. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency in office software, and a passion for supporting fellow students.

Responsibilities
- Serve as study leaders, sharing effective learning and study strategies with assigned students.
- Help clarify and reinforce course content, assignments, and material.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals.
Requirements
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Be in good academic standing and have no disciplinary actions on record.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Show genuine interest in helping other students succeed academically, socially, and personally.
- Balance academic responsibilities with the time commitment required for mentoring.
- Familiarize yourself with college resources, services, and programs available to students.
- Exhibit a high level of professionalism, including punctuality, responsibility, and ethical behavior.
- Demonstrate leadership skills or potential, with experience in student organizations, volunteer work, or other leadership roles considered a plus.
Qualifications
- Must be a TCC student with federal work study funds.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in office software.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish-English preferred).
