Worksite Supervisor - Water Distibution
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Aid job seekers, typically ages 15-25, in obtaining and maintaining employment.
Collaborate with job seekers to identify employment interests, skills, and abilities.
Partner with local employers to identify staffing needs, develop job opportunities, and fill vacancies.
Perform general clerical duties and data entry.
Support job fairs and special events.
Effectively interact with the general public, patrons, staff, and supervisors.
HOURS
Required to work during core program hours of 1:00-4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday. Some evening and weekend availability is preferred.
Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
One year of related work experience and two years of college or university level work in business, human resources, or related field, preferred, or any combination of experience and education that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Excellent computer skills a plus: Microsoft Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
Experience working with youth, ages 15-25, preferred.
Show initiative and be self-motivated with a positive approach.
Have customer focus with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Display strong attention to detail with an ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

This is a non-benefited position with an annual schedule cap of 999 hours per fiscal year.
Part-time employees must contribute 4.3% of base pay to the Public Agency Retirement System (PARS).
The City contributes 3.2%. Contribution rates are subject to change.
The City does not participate in Social Security except for the mandatory Medicare Program.
