Workshop Service Technician V
Job Purpose
Leads a team of Workshop Technicians in a work center located at a single shop facility to ensure that production and performance commitments are fulfilled.
Job Description
- Responsible for production performance of assigned shift to ensure adherence to published schedules and delivery requirements
- Determines manufacturing priorities based on established weekly production schedules and makes daily assignments
- Resolves technician issues and conflicts and acts as a catalyst to provide technicians with everything needed to complete work
- Covers the intervention of support services (maintenance, quality, methods, etc.) within the Production unit
- Interprets specifications and makes judgments about the acceptability of production that is in process
- Implements departmental safety programs to ensure safety of employees working in the area
- Ensures process documentation and employees complying with approved procedures, processes and standards
You are meant for this job if:
- A high school diploma or equivalent technical diploma
- 6 years of experience in field
- Proficiency to read, interpret and evaluate accuracy of drawings and technical documentation in assembly
- Knowledge/ use of integrated systems and more tools, complex equipment and techniques
