Workplace Strategy & Operations Manager
Overview
Stripe's Workplace team is responsible for delivering welcoming, functional, and beautiful environments worldwide. The Strategy and Operations Manager will play a key role in driving cross-functional initiatives across the core Workplace pillars (Real Estate Strategy and Transactions, Environments (design and construction), and Experience (workplace services and programs)), alongside high-priority 'interstitial' projects.
Responsibilities
- Aid in defining Strategic Objectives, Key Results Areas (SOKRs) and ensure alignment with the Workplace team's roadmap
- Lead cross-functional projects that span multiple departments, focusing on M&A integrations
- Identify and address bottlenecks in current workflows, designing scalable processes to enhance efficiency
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on business metrics to provide actionable recommendations for growth and efficiency
- Drive the Workplace AI and data strategy in partnership with the IT Business Partner, identifying and implementing innovative technologies and systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in strategy and operations, management consulting, corporate real estate strategy, or a data-driven operational role in a fast-growing environment
- Strong quantitative skills with a track record of using data to drive complex business cases and macro-level decisions
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects from conception to execution
- Experience working directly within or alongside Workplace or Real Estate teams
- Great collaboration and people skills, with the ability to build relationships with both leaders and individual contributors across the broader organization
- High judgment with the ability to balance speed, risk, and organizational health
- An inclination to solve problems systematically via infrastructure and automation
- A clear willingness to take a hands-on approach and dive into the details
- The ability to work independently or with a small team
- Flexibility with changing requirements in an evolving and fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationships
- Ability to capture complex concepts and communicate them succinctly to key stakeholders

- Experience working directly within or alongside Workplace or Real Estate teams

Location
Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team, and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Bengaluru, and Dublin work 100% from the office. Some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.
