Workplace Learning Facilitator (Contractor)

About the role

This is an independent contractor position delivering in‑person and virtual training sessions to TELUS Health corporate clients. You will manage the learning environment, share subject‑matter expertise, and facilitate seminars and workshops on topics such as change management, stress management, resiliency, respect, professionalism, and difficult behaviors. Deliveries range from one‑hour awareness seminars to half‑day or full‑day interactive skill‑building workshops. Travel within and surrounding the San Francisco Bay Area is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑packaged seminars (one‑hour awareness sessions) and workshops (half‑day or full‑day) to corporate clients, both virtually and in‑person.
• Facilitate learning environments that are psychologically safe and engaging.
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate individual and group differences, including special needs.
• Represent the TELUS Health brand and uphold its standards during all instructional deliveries.
• Occasionally support the development, design, and testing of new educational products.

Qualifications

• Post‑graduate degree in adult education, psychology, industrial relations, organizational behavior, human resource management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering instructor‑led training in applied workplace settings.
• Proven experience delivering skill‑based training to adult learners across diverse workplace environments.
• Superior communication, presentation, and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to adapt instructional materials for varied audiences, including those with special needs.
• Experience facilitating employer‑focused education on leadership development, mental health, financial wellbeing, and/or diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Demonstrated track record as a contractor facilitator delivering these topics globally.
