About the role
As a CBRE Workplace Experience Manager, you will be responsible for managing employees that oversee the delivery of workplace experience services. Examples of services include Concierge, Reception, Meeting & Event Management, and administrative office duties. This job is part of the Workplace Experience function.
Responsibilities
- Operational oversight and establishment of a continuous improvement culture
- Managing warehouse capacity and throughput
- Integrating the latest technologies to ensure safety, security, and predictability of all services
- Leading teams in different locations across campus, coaching, and talent development including developing a leadership pipeline
- Pricing and maintaining a fleet of vans and box trucks to ensure continuity of service
- Customer engagement and executive communication
- Collaboration with partner teams across the IFM, Security, IT, Workplace Experience, HSE, Finance and Vendors
- Governance, Compliance with government regulation, Risk Management and Change Leadership
- Monitoring the training and development of staff. Conducting performance evaluations and coaching
- Overseeing the recruiting and hiring of new employees
- Coordination and management of the team's daily activities. Establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff
- Setting and tracking staff and department deadlines
- Mentoring and coaching as needed
- Building and maintaining a trusted client relationship
- Negotiating with clients, partners, and associates to resolve conflicting priorities
- Ensuring support provided by the team is efficient and consistent
- Suggesting process improvement efforts on a regular basis
- Assisting with developing strategic solutions
- Auditing technological and training needs for Workplace Experience teams and clients
- Always following safety standards with employees, clients, and vendors
- Managing negotiations for contract services
- Confirming that all vendors have current proof of insurance and contractual documentation
- Overseeing programs ran by third-party vendors. Includes food delivery, organizing events, providing transportation, or mail distribution
- Ensuring all invoices for business services billed
- Leading by example and modeling behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values
- Influencing parties of shared interests to reach an agreement
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience
- In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered
- Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred
- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems
- Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset

Pay
The minimum salary for the Workplace Experience Manager position is $90k annually and the maximum salary for the Manager position is $115k annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
