About the Team

The Operations function within the Workplace department is responsible for delivering exceptional services to Mironeers. As a forward-thinking team, we leverage innovative technology and a data-driven approach to design and implement policies and protocols that ensure a safe, secure, and world-class hub experience. This directly contributes to our "Integrated Workplace Excellence" framework. The Austin hub is one of Miro's key US sites, and this role serves as its welcoming face.

About the Role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic, people-first Workplace Coordinator to be the face of Miro’s Austin hub. Rooted in hospitality, this role brings warmth, presence, and meticulous attention to detail, transforming the office into an exceptional space rather than merely functional. Whether your background is in corporate hospitality, front-of-house, or office management, what matters most is your genuine commitment to creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through the door.

Beyond front-of-house responsibilities, this role offers growth opportunities in operations, vendor management, and events. You’ll be supported by an experienced global team spanning Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Yerevan, and beyond. For the right candidate, this position serves as a springboard into a well-rounded workplace career.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the face and first impression of the Austin hub, welcoming employees, visitors, and guests with warmth and professionalism daily.
  • Own the front-of-house experience, including visitor management, space readiness, hospitality setup, and maintaining daily presentation standards.
  • Ensure the hub runs smoothly behind the scenes by managing supplies, coordinating maintenance, and liaising with building management.
  • Support employee experience touchpoints, such as new hire onboarding tours, internal events, and workplace communications.
  • Act as the on-site anchor for the North America remote service desk, triaging and resolving Jira tickets, escalating issues as needed, and keeping employees informed.
  • Uphold and evolve Miro's office policies, visitor experience standards, and operational guidelines for the Austin hub.
  • Coordinate vendors and contractors end-to-end, scheduling, following through, and addressing issues proactively to prevent disruptions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in workplace operations, hospitality, office coordination, or a customer-facing role. Mindset matters more than years of experience.
  • A natural hospitality mindset—you thrive on delivering great service and creating welcoming, people-first experiences. You make everyone feel at ease, from new hires to leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills—you can juggle multiple requests, stay ahead of daily tasks, and follow through without needing reminders.
  • Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal, comfortable engaging with all levels of the organization.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach. You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where each day may look different. You anticipate needs before they’re voiced and take initiative to keep the environment thriving.
  • Full-time, on-site availability in Austin, TX, five days a week—this role is front-of-house by design.
  • You enjoy creating great spaces and moments that bring people together.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in workplace operations, corporate front-of-house, office coordination, hospitality, or facilities support.
  • Experience in a corporate, tech, or hospitality environment where presentation and service standards are consistently high.

Skills

  • Workplace & Ticketing Tools: Comfortable learning and using workplace management platforms, ticketing systems, and internal tools.
  • Vendor Coordination: Ability to liaise with building management, suppliers, and contractors for day-to-day operational tasks.
  • Events & Visitor Experience: Experience supporting logistics for visitor experiences, events, or onboarding activities.
  • AI Fluency: Experienced with using AI tools to boost day-to-day productivity (e.g., drafting, summarizing) and able to critically assess AI-generated content.
  • Hospitality Presence: You set the tone the moment someone enters—warm, professional, and attentive.
  • Adaptability: You adapt quickly when priorities shift, handle the unexpected with composure, and thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days look the same.
  • Growth Orientation: You seek to deepen your craft, take feedback well, and actively improve processes.
  • Ownership: You take responsibility for your scope, flag blockers early, and follow through.
  • Curiosity: You think beyond the next task, notice opportunities for improvement, and take steps to enhance them.

Benefits

Our global benefits package includes equity, a wellbeing benefit, a WFH equipment allowance, and an annual Learning & Development stipend. We foster a diverse team where you can do your best work.
