Responsibilities

• Work shifts on campus in either the Learning Center or Instructional Support Lab.
• Meet with students in person or online to provide academic support in your major area.
• Provide guidance, demonstrate with examples, and model effective note-taking, study, and test-taking techniques.
• Act as an academic coach by encouraging students and helping them learn to access resources independently.
• Use the appointment scheduling tool TracCloud to enter post-session summary notes for professors.
• Sanitize in-person work stations and schedule appointments in the absence of a front desk worker.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be a currently-enrolled graduate or undergraduate student at AUM.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Strong communication skills; patient and compassionate.
• Strong time management and organizational skills (desired).
