About the role
The Workforce Trainers at Waubonsee Community College provide skills-based training and experiences in a traditional or non-traditional classroom setting and/or lab environment. They deliver training specific to participants enrolled in Workforce Education offerings across the career continuum, including career starters, career changes, and career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct training needs assessment using various techniques
- Provide interactive and engaging training sessions for individuals, groups, and companies using alternative and non-traditional methodologies appropriate for adult learners
- Collaborate with the Workforce Education Program Manager to prepare and/or select education materials
- Aid in the development and/or evaluation of new curricula and program designs
Requirements
- College degree in a related field OR industry-recognized credential in the discipline of instruction with 5-10 years of work-related experience in the discipline of instruction
- Experience with field training and/or classroom instruction preferred
- Comfortable and capable of demonstrating competency using video conferencing platforms and instructional technologies

- Knowledge of PMP Certification preferred
