About the role
The WIOA Case Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive support to individuals seeking employment services.
Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and develop individualized employment plans
- Coordinate with employers and other service providers to facilitate job placements
- Provide counseling and guidance on career development and job search strategies
- Monitor client progress and adjust plans as necessary
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in employment services or related field
- Knowledge of WIOA and other workforce development programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with case management software
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
