Workforce Absence Payroll Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Affirmatively interprets leave and disability claims data coding hierarchy and applies correct codes to payroll and time and attendance systems.
- Reviews and balances colleague time card files based on client-paid time off policies.
- Responds to inquiries from Human Resources and internal business partners regarding plan provisions and administrative procedures.
- Assists in evaluating absence programs and implementing best practices in absence administration.
- Supports management with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field from an accredited institution preferred.
- Two (2) years of administrative support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Experience in HR or payroll is preferred.
- Working knowledge of leave of absence, workers' compensation, and disability leave regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office products.
- Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
