Workers' Compensation Specialist

- Additional hours available per month for projects
- Shifts: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Job Description
Provides training on post-injury management protocols and procedures.
Ensures reasons for reoccurrence are addressed to prevent future injuries.
Analyzes event reports to identify trends and commonalities.
Maintains accurate records of post-injury management activities and outcomes.
Administers post-injury management programs, including return-to-work policies.
Coordinates discussions on medical restrictions, reasonable accommodations, job re-assignment, and potential outcomes.
Monitors leaves and restricted work to ensure compliance and effective management.
Pairs with managers to arrange return-to-work plans and alternative work arrangements.
Conducts data analysis to support organizational goals and improve program effectiveness.
Advocates for injured associates throughout the medical management process.
Communicates event reporting system expectations to staff and leadership.
Education
- Bachelor's [Required]
Work Experience
- 3+ years related experience
- Strong Clinical Background/Assessment Skills
- Effective and Transparent Written/Verbal Communication Skills

- Strong Organizational Skills/Proactive Mindset

Hospital Based WC or Occupational Health Experience
Knowledge of OSHA Regulatory Standards, WC laws, State-specific regulations
