Workers' Compensation Consultant
Under the general direction and supervision of the Supervising Workers’ Compensation Consultant, the Workers’ Compensation Consultant assists the general public, analyzes, and reviews documents and regulations concerning issues related to workers’ compensation application.
Responsibilities
- Assist the general public with workers’ compensation inquiries.
- Analyze and review documents and regulations related to workers’ compensation.
Working Conditions
- Located at 1515 Clay St, Oakland, CA 94612.
- 40 hours per week in an office setting with cubicles, natural and artificial lighting, and standard office equipment.
- Office is in an air-conditioned, high-rise building with elevator access.
- Telework may be available, consistent with Departmental policy. Part-time telework may be offered after formal training, upon approval by the Medical Unit Manager.
Pay
$6,646.00 - $8,324.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
Schedule
- Permanent, full-time position.
- Hybrid telework arrangement available.
