Workers Compensation Claims Examiner | NY Jurisdictional Experience | NY Licensing Required

Responsibilities

• Investigate and gather information to determine claim exposure.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity and processing with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests for directions professionally and promptly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• New York Licensing required.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Jurisdiction Knowledge: New York Licensing: New York.

Pay

The range of starting pay for this role is $80,000 - $88,000.
