The firm is looking to add a Workers' Compensation Attorney to their Jackson office.
Attorneys with two or more years of workers' compensation experience are encouraged to apply.
Candidates must be licensed to practice in Mississippi.
About the Role
Work for THE insurance defense firm of the Southeast.
This is a Partner track associate role with an amazing firm culture.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on workers' compensation matters
- Represent clients in workers' compensation litigation
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
Requirements
- Licensed to practice in Mississippi
- Two or more years of workers' compensation experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- JD degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in Mississippi
- Passion for workers' compensation law
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Effective negotiation and mediation abilities
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
