Workers' Compensation Associate

The role is based in Fairlawn, OH, specializing in Workers Compensation, with a schedule of 32 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with patients, MCOs, employers, attorneys, therapists, and staff.
• Completes all Workers Compensation forms, including First Report of Injury (FROI), motions, approvals for surgeries, evaluations, and treatments.
• Faxes and/or processes forms as needed and handles related phone calls.
• Receives and resolves Workers Compensation calls from patients, MCOs, employers, attorneys, clinicians, and staff.
• Maintains familiarity with the Ohio BWC website to research information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One-year prior experience in a Workers Compensation department or medical office preferred.
