Worker's Comp Defense Attorney-Remote

We are a Mid-Atlantic regional law firm of over 100 attorneys, headquartered in Philadelphia, specializing in defense civil litigation and trial practice. We are seeking an experienced Attorney to join our team, focusing on Workers' Compensation defense litigation. This remote position offers the flexibility of working from home and the opportunity to work on challenging cases.

About the role

This is a fully remote position. Applicants must reside in New York, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia. We would consider full or part-time hourly arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in Workers' Compensation defense cases
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
• Draft legal documents, including motions and briefs
• Attend hearings and mediations (virtually when possible)
• Collaborate with team members and clients remotely

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar admission in New York for a minimum of 5 years
• Workers' Compensation experience preferred, but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in legal research and case management software
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
