Worker II Cook, FT

Duties

• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, utensils and equipment.
• Cooks, bakes, prepares hot and cold foods for patients, cafeteria and/or special functions.
• Services and stocks all vending machines.
• Performs cashier services in the cafeteria.
• Maintains dry goods, paper goods, and refrigerated/frozen storage inventory.
• Monitors computer system for diet orders and requests, verifying with menus.

Job Knowledge

• Must be flexible and able to meet deadlines.
• Must practice basic skills in sanitation and safety.
• Must have knowledge of basic food groups.
• Must be able to procure products from written recipes.
• Ability to locate and use resource materials in diet manuals is necessary.

Safety Sensitive

Safety sensitive: YES. Any associate using medical marijuana will be excluded from employment in a safety sensitive position.

Physical Effort

• Long hours of standing, walking, bending, pushing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Mental Effort

• Must be able to perform short cycle repetitive duties under stressful situations.
