Workday Reporting Consultant(s)- All Levels

About the role

Peoplevisor is seeking Workday Reporting consultants (all levels) with HCM and Financials systems experience and expertise in the areas of HCM and Financials. The role requires a functional and technical aptitude and the capability to configure Workday to meet business requirements and design specifications of clients. As a Workday Financials Consultant, you will provide expert guidance and delivery on all project engagements, manage the agreed budget, and deliver projects profitably.

Key Expectations

• Workday Reporting expert with deep knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, and touch points through HCM, Payroll, Financials—including Financial Accounting, Grants Management, Supplier Accounts, Customer Accounts, Procurement, Banking & Settlement, Expenses, and Projects.
• Minimum of 2 years composite and matrix report writing experience in Workday HCM and/or Financials.
• Expertise in calculated fields and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Excel pivot tables in conjunction with reporting.
• Identify and communicate findings to senior management and client personnel.
• Execute day‑to‑day activities of Workday Reporting project support.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on Workday best practices.
• Conduct sessions with customers to analyze business requirements and provide solutions to complex business problems.
• Knowledge and ability to develop financial statements including cash flow, trial balance, and income statements.
• Mentor other consultants and actively share product knowledge to grow the practice.
• Support business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Workday HCM and/or Financials certification (required).
• 2+ years implementing Workday's HCM Suite and/or Financial, Procurement, and/or Expense Management solutions.
• 2+ years deploying financial, procurement, or other related ERP solutions (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft).
• 2+ years in business process analysis and requirements gathering.
• 2+ years as a Workday Reporting Consultant or Reporting Lead with Workday Integration implementation experience.
• At least one full life‑cycle implementation involving Workday Reporting, Advanced Reporting, Composite Reporting, and BIRT as a Reporting Developer or Lead, plus Workday certification in HCM, Financials, and/or Integration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience leading reporting design and process alignment.
• Detailed understanding of ERP system concepts and general module functionality.
• Detailed understanding of Workday Reporting processes and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self‑training.

Travel

Expected travel is approximately ±40% depending on the project(s).
