Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of Workday programs and projects, including implementations, enhancements, regulatory changes, and integrations.

Own project governance including scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Drive effective stakeholder engagement and lead discussions to resolve complex issues, manage expectations, and drive consensus.

Partner with Workday functional leads (Human Capital Management, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Recruiting, etc.) to coordinate design, build, testing, and deployment activities.

Develop and manage detailed project plans, milestones, timelines, and resource forecasts.

Facilitate requirements gathering, design workshops, status meetings, and executive readouts.

Monitor project risks and issues, drive mitigation strategies, and escalate when appropriate.

Manage relationships with implementation partners and Application Management Services providers to ensure delivery against agreed timelines and Service Level Agreements.

Coordinate testing activities including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-deployment stabilization.

Ensure adherence to IT, data security, and change management standards.

Provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders and leadership on project status, risks, and outcomes.

Drive continuous improvement of Workday project delivery methodologies, documentation, and governance practices.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience managing Workday projects in a mid-to-large scale organization.

Strong understanding of Workday project lifecycles and cross-module dependencies.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Experience working with external vendors, system integrators, or AMS partners.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to leadership.

Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
