About the role
We are seeking an experienced Workday HRIS Analyst - Absence to join a high-performing HR technology team supporting a large enterprise Workday environment. This role is ideal for a functional Workday professional who enjoys partnering with business stakeholders, translating business needs into system solutions, and driving enhancements from requirements through implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business and product stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements.
- Translate business needs into scalable Workday Absence solutions.
- Configure and support enhancements within the Workday Absence module.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend system and process improvements.
- Participate in solution design, implementation planning, and release activities.
- Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document results, and coordinate issue resolution.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support successful product releases and deployments.
- Support complex initiatives involving HR technology, business process improvements, and enterprise system enhancements.
- Communicate project status, risks, testing results, and recommendations to business and executive stakeholders.
- Ensure deliverables align with established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Workday Absence in an HRIS Analyst, Functional Analyst, Consultant, or Lead role.
- Strong experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional Workday solutions.
- Hands-on experience configuring Workday Absence and supporting system enhancements.
- Experience planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Strong understanding of the Workday Business Process Framework.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadership.
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS, Business Analysis, Business Execution, Workday Consulting, Implementation, or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting additional Workday modules, including Payroll, Benefits, Core HCM, or Time Tracking.
- Experience supporting or partnering on Workday integrations.
- Previous Workday certification.
- Experience supporting Workday in large, complex enterprise environments.

Work Arrangement
Hybrid schedule. Candidates must be able to work onsite at the Chandler, AZ office as part of a regular hybrid work schedule.
