Workday HR Specialist
Duration: 12+ Months | Location: PA - 100% Remote
About the role
Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Workday HR Specialist, you will join Turnberry's Business Transformation practice. Turnberry's Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Work with HR Business Partners to help define HR processes and how they will work within the framework of a HR Cloud System
- Contribute to technical projects related to platform extendibility, data integrity, and other HR-related systems
- Serve as a tier 3 escalation for system support cases
- Execute process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes, and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation
- Translate functional requirements into technical documentation to support specific implementation scenarios, reports, or queries utilizing appropriate tool
- Support, document, and maintain Workday configuration of third party vendors for our HR Platform functional footprint
- Assist and collaborate with technical teams in the review, testing, and implementation of system upgrades or patches
- Present and defend functional and technical solutions
- Document integration processes as well as results across other team in HR Systems and Technology
- Work with Quality Assurance team to determine all necessary testing is accounted and documented
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Generally requires 1-3 years related experience in Workday systems implementation and support
- Awareness of process design and redesign skills
- Awareness of, knowledge of, and ability to apply project management skills
- Awareness of new enhancement packages, competitive applications and products, and ability to make recommendation features
- Able to provide feedback regarding best possible user experience for application users
- Well versed in Microsoft Office applications with focus on Excel and PowerPoint for presentation development
- Experience with HP Octane for ticket management and test case execution and tracking is preferred but not required
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
Pay
The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $90,000 or the hourly equivalent. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.
