About the role
The People Technology Product Owner role at Revantage is responsible for owning and optimizing one or more Workday modules across multiple PortCos. This role requires deep functional expertise, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to lead hands-on delivery and ecosystem innovation.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product roadmap for assigned Workday modules, ensuring strategic enhancements, bug fixes, and Workday release adoption are prioritized and executed.
- Engage with HR leaders and business stakeholders across multiple PortCos to understand unique workforce models, business contexts, and HR priorities, and run structured forums and user communities to align on requirements and share updates.
- Collaborate with the Associate Product Owner(s) to lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for enhancements and releases, and support the Associate Product Owner(s) in day-to-day delivery, providing guidance, review, and quality oversight.
- Think beyond Workday, identifying complementary or supplementary technologies that could enhance capability in assigned modules, and propose and build the business case for technology enhancements or new tool adoption where Workday alone does not fully meet business needs.
- Manage competing priorities across PortCos with transparency, communicating trade-offs, timelines, and decisions clearly to all stakeholders.
- Remain hands-on with Workday configuration in assigned modules, able to review, validate, and contribute to configuration work alongside the Associate Product Owner.
- Evaluate the HR technology landscape for innovations relevant to assigned modules, and collaborate with vendors to stay ahead of product developments and advocate for Revantage's priorities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Workday functional experience with deep, hands-on expertise in at least two Workday modules.
- Demonstrated experience owning a Workday module in a production environment — including enhancements, releases, stakeholder management, and roadmap ownership.
- Experience working in a multi-entity, multi-PortCo, or shared-services HR technology model.
- Strong understanding of Workday business process configuration, security roles, reporting, and calculated fields.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior HR stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience running forums, steering committees, or user communities across a distributed stakeholder base.
- Global Workday implementation or support experience — able to navigate multi-jurisdiction complexity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa.
Qualifications
- Module-specific experience depending on the specific Product Owner role, including expertise in Core HCM, Onboarding & Workday Help, Compensation & Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Paradox & HiredScore, Talent & Learning, US Benefits & US Payroll, People Analytics & Peakon.
Skills
- Deep functional expertise in Workday modules.
