Workday Financials Sr Consultant

About the role

The Emerging ERP Solutions practice at Deloitte specializes in delivering cloud-based ERP applications such as Workday Financials and Infor. Our focus is on transforming finance and supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. We collaborate closely with CFOs, CIOs, and Business Unit leaders to implement lasting solutions across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead project workstreams, identify and document business requirements
• Provide functional design, prototyping (including scenario design, flow mapping)
• Test and user train
• Define support procedures
• Coordinate schedules, create documentation and collateral
• Create and execute test/use cases
• Configure Workday software
• Assist with prioritization and sequencing of workstream efforts
• Assist project leadership as required

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting or industry experience in Workday Financials/ERP finance domain
• 2+ years of experience leading Financials workstreams and project teams
• Workday Financials Professional certification or ability to obtain upon joining
• A minimum of 1 full life cycle Workday Financial implementation
• Demonstrated knowledge in Record to Report, Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC)
• Ability to travel 50% on average based on the work and client needs
• Bachelor's Degree or 8 years equivalent professional experience
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Preferred: Advanced degree in the area of specialization, functional knowledge around financial systems and processes, experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines, ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements, experience as a lead and mentor to junior staff, presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)

Pay

The wage range for this role is $116,000 to $229,100. Compensation is determined based on factors including skill sets, experience, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs. There is a discretionary annual incentive program available, contingent on individual and organizational performance.
