Workday Financials Sr Consultant
About the role
Deloitte's Emerging ERP Solutions practice focuses on cloud-based ERP applications like Workday Financials and Infor, transforming finance and supply-chain processes to make them more efficient and cost-effective. As a Workday Financials Senior Consultant, you will lead project workstreams, collaborate with CFOs, CIOs, and business leaders, and deliver business transformation and continuous support across industries.
You will work on projects involving Workday Financials, Supply Chain Management, Infor Solutions, Microsoft Dynamics, and Sustainability Technology and Strategy, contributing to innovation and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead project workstreams and identify/document business requirements.
- Provide functional design, prototyping (including scenario design and flow mapping), testing, and user training.
- Define support procedures and coordinate schedules.
- Create documentation, collateral, test/use cases, and configure Workday software.
- Assist with prioritization and sequencing of workstream efforts.
- Support project leadership as required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of consulting or industry experience in Workday Financials/ERP finance domain.
- 2+ years of experience leading Financials workstreams and project teams.
- Workday Financials Professional certification or capability to obtain upon joining.
- A minimum of 1 full life cycle Workday Financial implementation.
- Demonstrated knowledge in some combination of: Record to Report, Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC).
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on client needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years of equivalent professional experience.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred Qualifications
- An advanced degree in a relevant area of specialization.
- Functional knowledge of financial systems and processes.
- Experience defining systems strategy, requirements, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing business solutions under multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and manage small engagements or parts of large engagements.
- Experience as a lead and mentor to junior staff.
- Strong presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
Pay
The wage range for this role is $116,000 to $229,100, taking into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. Compensation decisions depend on individual circumstances. You may also be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance.
