About the Role

  • Provide end-user support and assist with user inquiries and requests.
  • Administer, configure, maintain, and support Workday modules: Financial Management (FIN), Financial Planning (PLNF), Projects (PRJT), Expenses (EXP), Procurement (PRO), Accounting Center (ACC), and Strategic Sourcing (SRCEXP).
  • Analyze bi-annual Workday release notes and assess their impact on existing configurations.
  • Collaborate with the HCM support team to determine which updates to adopt or skip.
  • Perform advanced research, analysis, and coordinate testing for reported issues and new functionality within all modules.
  • Stay informed about the latest Workday releases and research topics on the Workday Community.
  • Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide timely and accurate information to management and stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Accounting, Finance, Tax, and Internal Audit) and IT teams to align systems with business requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Assist with data audits and implement data quality measures to maintain data integrity (e.g., chart of accounts, vendor information, customer information, fixed assets).
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address findings related to systems and processes.
  • Create and maintain training materials and documentation to assist users in maximizing Workday FIN/PAY capabilities.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on Workday FIN/PAY functionality, self-service features, and best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of work experience, including at least one year of end-user experience with Workday in a financial functional area (Core Financials/Financial Accounting, Expenses, Procurement).
  • Working knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and financial management practices.
  • Knowledge of Workday Security.
  • BA/BS/BBA degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Must have completed one Workday advanced skills course: Advanced Reporting and Analytics, Calculated Fields, Composite Reporting Fundamentals, Customer Accounts & Customer Contracts, Financial Accounting, Inbound EIB Integrations, or Supply Chain Management (SCM).
  • Workday Pro Financials certification or other relevant financial analysis certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with other Workday touchpoints and system integrations preferred.
  • Experience with system troubleshooting and problem-solving preferred.
  • Experience with providing user support and training is a plus.

Pay

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $93,370.00/Yr. - USD $153,400.00/Yr., depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a hybrid position. You will be expected to work on-site according to team needs and remotely from your home office when not on-site. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to one of the hub locations; relocation assistance is not offered at this time.
