About the role

We are seeking a consultant to support large-scale Human Capital Management (HCM) initiatives. This remote contract position involves designing, documenting, implementing, and improving HR processes and technology. Candidates should have experience with enterprise HCM technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive HCM initiatives from requirements through implementation, including design, configuration, and testing.
• Develop and maintain project and functional content like process flows and test plans.
• Partner with HR stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements.
• Analyze changes to HR processes and their impact on systems and integrations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify dependencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate testing, defect management, deployment, and change management activities.
• Proactively identify gaps and next steps in projects.
• Lead HCM-related initiatives from requirements through implementation.
• Create high-quality documentation for requirements, processes, and training.
• Collaborate with HR and technical teams to understand and translate business needs.
• Analyze impacts of HR process changes on systems and downstream processes.
• Support enterprise-scale HCM implementations using established methodologies.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in HCM, HR technology, or HR transformation environments.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and their impact on the employee lifecycle.
• Experience with enterprise-scale HCM implementation or transformation.
• Excellent communication skills for creating clear and actionable content.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technology/system requirements.

Pay

$63.70–$91.00 per hour.
