Workday Certified Integrations Senior Consultant

About the Role

As part of our Workday Practice, you’ll be part of an energized team of advisory professionals who deliver more than just technology. From initial assessments to entire transformations, you’ll deliver Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Workday Financials solutions, equipping organizations with the information they need to make better business decisions.

As an Optimization Technical Consultant at Guidehouse, you will design, develop, update, and troubleshoot system integrations for customers who have implemented Workday. The integrations you create allow Workday to exchange data with other systems throughout the organization, as well as third parties, eliminating the need to transfer data manually.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB, Orchestrate, and core connectors.
• Troubleshoot and update existing Workday integrations for Optimization customers.
• Deliver requirements and design documents.
• Develop quality Workday integrations.
• Engage with 3rd party vendors as required to complete integration work.
• Actively communicate with other team members on cross-functional items.
• Communicate technical challenges and solutions to internal and client teams.
• Be an active participant on assigned projects helping to streamline client processes.
• Participate in an innovative, teaming culture to enable constant innovation and improvement to process and assets.
• Demonstrate consultative skills.
• Have a passion for high customer satisfaction levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in ERP (Workday, etc.) integration development, modern technology experience (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .NET, middleware, etc.); OR a Master’s degree with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in ERP integration development; OR no degree with seven (7) years of experience in ERP integration development.
• Current holder of a Workday Certification within one of the following: Workday Integrations, Workday Studio, Workday Orchestrate, etc.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in integration development, modern technology experience (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .NET, middleware, etc.).
• Up to 10% travel required, with a focus on work from home and/or Guidehouse office; consultants may provide on-site support for key milestones as needed.

Skills

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with implementations involving state or local government is preferred.
• Experience with the execution of projects within a structured methodology.
• Experience working in HR or Financial Department environments with an understanding of the issues facing organizations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills (RFP responses, white papers, etc.) and presentation skills such as Workday demonstrations and client presentations.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $102,000.00–$170,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
