Workday Analyst in Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, and Recruiting

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and support the Workday system, which includes Core HCM, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting, Absence, Payroll, and Compensation.
  • Configure, implement, and maintain system changes, including business process design, to achieve optimized functionality and streamlined processes.
  • Design and deliver custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday reporting tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy and quality through monitoring, audits, and exception reporting.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather priorities and requirements, configure business processes, achieve goals and address gaps.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday and related HR and/or Payroll functionalities.
  • Configure and maintain payroll settings, including earnings, deductions, tax setups, and GL mapping.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or similar discipline with a minimum of 6 years of related experience or a Master’s degree in similar disciplines with a minimum of 4 years of related experience or a PhD in similar disciplines with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Strong experience with Workday Core HCM, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting, Absence, Payroll, and Compensation.
  • Strong experience with Workday administrative functions including tenant configuration, data loads, configurations, and security administration.
  • Proven ability to build Workday custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Workday Extend.
  • Must be a U.S. person.

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge and experience with UKG Pro Time & Attendance is a plus.
  • Understanding of HR, Payroll, and Compliance reporting standards in non-profit and government organizations.
  • Familiarity with developing, maintaining, and supporting Workday integrations using Workday Studio.
  • Familiarity with UKG Pro integrations.
  • Familiarity with Oracle eBusiness Suite.
  • Familiarity with SQL.
