Workday Advanced Compensation Business Systems Analyst
Job Summary
As a Workday Advanced Compensation Business Systems Analyst, you will work with other Systems Analysts under the direction of the People Systems group to accomplish Client's vision of democratizing data by building a world-class People technology platform that allows employees to make an impact. You will focus on the compensation functional area to: uncover and establish business needs, translate them into technical requirements and develop new solutions to increase adoption of technology platforms inclusive of Workday and Pave. You will build deep partnerships with cross-functional partners, advocate for new ways technology can improve our compensation programs, and be empowered to innovate the future of our People Technology strategy.
You will report to the Sr. Manager, People Systems as part of the CIO's org. We are looking for an expert in Workday Advanced Compensation to setup equity invoice, Workday Advanced Compensation Management. To be considered for this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience with Workday and a strong understanding of Business Processes. Experience with Pave is a plus. Candidates from Eastern and Central regions are preferred due to the need to work with different stakeholders and adapt to their time zones.
This job position is for 6 months with potential to convert to full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural consultation across Workday modules and integrated solutions, including Workday HCM Core, Compensation, US Payroll, Reporting, Security, and integrations.
- Define internal best practices for system architecture, design, and build across the "compensation planning" ecosystem and integrated enterprise business systems.
- Support the PM in defining and implementing a multi-quarter technology roadmap, including processes and procedures in collaboration with business stakeholders and our IT engineering, data, and security teams.
- Create and maintain documentation of business process, integration, and related data architecture to identify areas of friction, waste, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support development of a compensation technology roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders and our IT engineering, data, and security teams.
- Ensure that the system meets the defined expectations of the business.
- Drive Workday and Pave best practices, with methods and tools, to maximize the value of the platform(s).
- Drive consensus with business and technical teams to determine the best solution to business problems, output needs, and the delivery of new technology solutions and enhancements.
