Are you passionate about getting involved, supporting your peers, and making campus life more exciting and inclusive? Join the Student Life team at West! As a Student Life Assistant, you’ll help support student events, manage day-to-day office tasks, and assist with The Pantry when needed.
Responsibilities
- Help plan and run Student Life initiatives, such as campus events and activities
- Support The Pantry by organizing donations, restocking shelves, and welcoming guests
- Affiliate with outreach by creating flyers, writing announcements, and spreading the word
- Pitch in on daily office tasks like data entry, filing, and scheduling
- Build your teamwork and problem-solving skills by working collaboratively with other student employees and staff
- Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester;
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress;
- Adhere to College's confidentiality policy;
- Successfully pass background/drug screening;
- Answer phone and take messages;
- Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing;
- Open and sort mail;
- Strong interpersonal communication skills;
- Willingness to learn new technology;
- Assist with special projects;
- Other duties as assigned.
