McMurry University’s S3C tutoring program is CRLA certified. Each tutor receives training based on the program’s required guidelines.
About the role
As a peer tutor, you will tutor students in your specialized subject(s) on a one-to-one basis, in study groups, and/or as a required lab.
Requirements
- Enrolled full-time as a McMurry student with an award of work-study funds and all required information confirmed received by the Office of Financial Aid
- Ability to provide original forms of identification to complete payroll documents as described in IRS Form I-9 “List Of Acceptable Documents”
Qualifications
- GPA of at least 3.5 in the area(s) you are able to tutor (preferred)
- Overall GPA of at least 3.0 (preferred)
- Dependable and responsible person able to convey concepts of subjects to fellow students
