Work Study - Fall '26 - Chemistry 1407 Lab Assistant

Description

This position is open for either 1 to 2 students and will cover either 1 or both of the Chemistry 1407 lab sections that meet on Mondays from 2:30-5:30 and 5:30-8:30.

Responsibilities

• Helping students with techniques and answering questions
• Fetching items from the stockroom and cleaning up spills and broken glass as needed
• Checking and providing feedback on notebooks
• Providing another set of eyes and hands to make the lab run more smoothly
• Grading (any time during the week, a couple of additional hours)
• Supervising makeup experiments (Friday afternoons)

5-10 hours per week
