Description
This position is open for up to 3 students and will help with the three sections of Chemistry 1410. The lab sections are as follows:
- CHEM 1410 General Chemistry I on Monday afternoon (2:30-5:30pm) with Dr. Pyenta
- CHEM 1410 General Chemistry I on Wednesday afternoon (2:30-5:30pm) with Dr. Veltkamp
- CHEM 1410 General Chemistry I on Thursday afternoon (2:30-5:30pm) with Dr. Pyenta
Responsibilities
- Helping students with techniques and answering questions
- Fetching items from the stockroom
- Cleaning up spills and broken glass as needed
- Checking and providing feedback on notebooks
- Providing another set of eyes and hands to make the lab run more smoothly
- Additional hours grading (any time during the week)
- Supervising makeup experiments (Friday afternoons)
