Responsibilities
- Review and edit Med-Legal reports
- Experience with Med-Legal Worker's Compensation reporting
- Experience with reviewing AME/QME reports
- Thorough understanding of AMC Guides 5th edition and Labor codes 4663 & 4664
- Excellent communication, writing and grammar skills
- Well versed with worker's compensation and medical terminology
- Strong organizational skills, detailed-oriented, and ability to handle multiple tasks
- High degree of professional excellence characterized by sound independent judgment, initiative and high standard of ethics
- High attention to detail
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years' work experience in Workers Compensation cases
- Experience in Orthopedics and Pain Management preferred
- Dependable and organized
- Receptive to constructive criticism and feedback
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and follow up on assignments
- Self-starter, proactive and works well with little supervision
- Excellent analytical skills, likes to be accurate and attention to detail
- Intermediate or higher skill level in WordPerfect and Word office
- Associates degree or higher
