We are seeking a WordPress Web Developer to support a nonprofit organization in the education technologies and services industry. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire role, fully remote but based on the East Coast.
About the role
As a WordPress Web Developer, you will build and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring ads drive traffic to the client’s site. This position involves collaboration on marketing campaigns, email marketing, and social media strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
- Create visually appealing, conversion-focused landing pages.
- Implement on-page and technical SEO best practices.
- Collaborate on marketing campaigns, email marketing, and social media strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience with WordPress development and customization.
- Strong understanding of UX principles and responsive design.
- Knowledge of SEO strategies, Google Analytics, and keyword tools.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tactics (email, social media, PPC).
- Basic HTML/CSS skills; PHP knowledge is a plus.
Pay
Salary range: $45 – $48 USD per hour, depending on professional experience.
